SAUNDRA MUNCY

Saundra has been a member of the firm since 1997.  She is our paralegal.  Saundra has an extensive background in corrections.  Prior to joining the firm, she served in ombudsman and grievance counseling services within the Virginia Department of Corrections, where she was the Executive Assistant to the Warden and then Human Rights Advocate for several medium/ maximum security penitentiaries.    She holds a degree in Business Administration and has furthered her education focusing on criminal justice, law and psychology.  Throughout the years with the Law Office of Alan Ellis, Saundra has worked extensively with Judge’s clerks, court reporters, and other court staff on client matters.  Ms. Muncy has established professional contacts with the United States Marshal Service, county jails throughout the United States and a variety of Bureau of Prison facilities and staff members within the BOP to attain the best possible results for our clients.  Those who have worked with Ms. Muncy during the years with our firm have been complimentary of her tenacity, upbeat personality, sense of humor and knowledge of court and prison issues all of which assist the firm in achieving the best possible result with client matters.
